Happy Feets is a small initiative with a big sense of responsibility.
Supporting children in South Africa through education, care and everyday stability.
Rooted in care. Built for the future.
Happy Feets began quietly.
With a simple encounter during a visit to South Africa.
A mother who had saved everything she could, just so her child could go
to school.
That moment revealed how much even a small act can change.
How access to education, care and opportunity is never a given – but a fragile balance many families face every day.
It was clear we couldn’t look away. Together with our son Mika, we chose to act.
To support children with education, care and structure.
Step by step.
With responsibility.
And with the belief that small beginnings can shape a future.
What started as individual support slowly grew into something larger.
More children.
More families.
More needs that couldn’t be ignored.
Today, Happy Feet(s) supports access to education, daycare and safe spaces for children in South Africa.
Not as a short-term solution, but as a long-term commitment.
Always personal.
Always grounded.
Always close to everyday life.
Rooted in care. Built for the future.
We believe every child deserves a fair chance.
Not because it sounds right – but because it shapes everything that follows.
When children feel safe, they can learn.
When they have structure, they gain confidence.
When basic needs are met, future becomes possible.
Real change doesn’t happen overnight.
It happens through consistency, trust and showing up again and again.
We work closely with local communities and partners on the ground.
Listening first.
Understanding real needs.
Acting responsibly.
Our focus is not growth for its own sake.
It’s sustainability, continuity and impact that lasts beyond a single moment.
Every project is built step by step.
With care.
With respect.
With long-term thinking.
Happy Feet(s) exists thanks to people who choose to care.
People who believe that small, thoughtful actions can create meaningful change.
Support can take many forms.
Time.
Resources.
Or simply being part of the journey.
There is no obligation.
Just an open invitation.
Happy Feet(s) was shaped by Mika and Sabine.
Not through a grand idea, but through presence, curiosity and the
willingness to listen.
Both have spent time on the ground in South Africa.
Meeting children, families and local communities.
Seeing everyday realities up close – not from a distance,
but as part of daily life.
What connects them is a shared belief:
That real support begins with understanding.
And that responsibility doesn’t end after a single visit.
Happy Feet(s) is not about leading from afar.
It’s about staying connected, showing up, and building trust over time.

It’s about giving something back.
About creating chances where they are needed most.
Because every small improvement changes more than we can see.
