From Vision to Reality
The HAPPY FEET(s) Daycare Centre was created to provide a safe and reliable environment for children whose families often work long and irregular hours.
Today, the centre is complete and supports local children with a secure place to learn, play and grow.
An important part of the project was ensuring access to clean water. Through the installation of a water tank, children no longer need to leave the centre to fetch water elsewhere.
This is more than a building.
It is a place where children can simply be children.
The centre will provide a safe and reliable place for children to stay day and night.
It will offer education, meals, rest and daily routine – creating stability where it is often missing.
The project is designed to support both children and their families.
By knowing their children are cared for, parents can work without constant worry, while children grow up in an environment shaped by safety, attention and continuity.
This daycare is not a short-term solution.
It is a long-term commitment to everyday life in the community – built step by step, with care and responsibility.
The HAPPY FEET(s) Daycare Centre was one of our first major community projects.
It showed what is possible when local communities, volunteers and supporters work towards a shared goal.
Today, the lessons learned from this project continue to shape our work in education, school development and child sponsorship.
Because every completed project is not an ending.
It is the beginning of something bigger.
