The school project
Imagine a classroom where ambition exceeds resources. A place where 48 children show up every day with a dream, but without a pen. In Mpumalanga, education is the only way out. The only way to a different life. But that road is full of holes. No books to read. No light to write by. No certainty that the school of tomorrow can offer the same as the one of today. At Happy Feet(s), we don’t just build walls, but the chance to become who you are.
Water project
Imagine gambling on the heap lying deep beneath your feet. Sixty meters through hard rocks and unyielding layers of dust. The first borehole yielded nothing but dryness. Doubt set in. But we refused to give up. For we knew what was at stake. Then, at a depth of sixty meters, the breakthrough came. The water gushed up. A cold, clear promise that changed the future of the school forever.
